AWS Desktop as a Service free offer details

AWS WorkSpaces is a managed Desktop as a Service solution that provides
(Windows or Linux) desktops from anywhere on any device: 

• Only applies to new users of the service
• COVID-19 response offer lasts until June 30th allowing 50 standard (and 4 higher spec) Linux/Windows cloud desktops (Windows 10 specs – 2 vCPU/4GB RAM/80 GB Root and 50 GB User Volumes) limited to 10,000 hours free usage over this period
• Simple (Samba based) AD and AD Connector (for AD federation) required for access is also free
• Existing free tier is also available for new users of the service for 2x standard cloud desktops for a couple of months but is limited to 40 hours free usage over this period

AWS WorkDocs works with AWS WorkSpaces to allow you to create, edit, and share documents – including syncing documents with devices e.g. PC, laptop, and tablet.
